UK trip - some photos

Emma, James & Olivia have now been back for 2 weeks and settled back into Sydney life.

I thought I should share a few snaps from their trip. Enjoy!

End of another soccer season

Well as Winter draws to an end so does the Soccer season for the Reid family.

James missed at least 6 games but still finished top scorer (and in my opinion) player of the year. His team won more than they lost and they all had a great time.

To celebrate the end of the season he took some of hit pocket money to buy something after the game. Typical of a little boy he bought the largest sticky bun he could find! He also bought his mate Jed one - so he is generous as well as unhealthy.

My team - Seaforth over 35's....did not fair quite as well as James' Wildcats. We finished with 1 win, 4 draws and 10 losses. This was an improvement on last year. I finished as second top scorer with 2. The team only scored 10 all season. But we ended well and played much better in the second half of the season. We celebrated with a few too many beers and promises of extra fitness work over the summer so that next season we can challenge for mid-table mediocrity rather than fight to avoid the wooden spoon. For the record we came second bottom....
