Still not really sorted out photos from Breckenridge or Hawaii. These were taken by professional photographers on the mountain - just downloaded them so thought I should share...
It's over 12 years now since Ken & Emma packed their bags and headed to Sydney for a "two year visit". Follow our Blog to keep up to date with our life and watch James, Olivia and Jack grow up.

A bit of a catch up
Been a little slack on the Blog front in recent weeks - skiing holiday, Hawaii etc.
Another weekend of sport, sport and more sport has almost ended. With Olivia's netball, James soccer and rugby plus my soccer - it is always a bit hectic at weekends. Not sure how we will cope when Jack starts to play sports....in about 3 years time....
After a great sporting weekend last week, we had average results this week. A big win for Olivia (15-2), a loss for James (2-5) and Ken (1-5) but finally a draw for James at Rugby - 25-25, with James getting two tries and a bruised knee! I am sure he was man-of-the-match.
Sydney has settled back into the type of weather we love. Blue sky, sunshine, cool mornings (12 degrees) and glorious afternoons (21 degrees). Great Autumn/Winter weather that is perfect for long walks and outdoor activities.
Today we headed down to Manly and enjoyed a walk along the beach, watching the surfers, chasing after Jack. In our first few years in Australia it seemed like every day was like today - always blue sky and sunshine. In recent years (due to El Nina) it's been rain, rain and more rain. We kinda hope the blue sky is here to stay!
Last weekend, James finally had his birthday party. 18 boys at GromTown - an indoor skatepark. They had a blast! Jack enjoyed watching.
After lots of practise where they had a mattress to land on, James finally perfected his "drop-in" and had a great time taking on bigger and bigger drops. After three hours there were no broken bones and everyone left tired and happy.
Today we headed down to Davis Marina as we had heard there was a seal "hanging out". We very rarely see seals around Sydney Harbour so this guy was pretty special. A Fur Seal - he was not too bothered by our presence and we got real close.
When we were down in Manly we tried to get Jack to learn to steer his scooter. He did not quite get the hang of it. Basically if he saw something he liked (say a dog) on his right, as he turned to look the steering also turned. Emma was pushing him and spent a lot of time going around in circles.
James was on his 4th skateboard (yes he has 4, each for different surfaces, occasions) and Olivia was on her scooter.
This was the latest Emma birthday cake - it's an upside down skateboard. James loved it!
More next week.
