Emma & the kids hit the zoo, while I did a few hours of work in the office and went shopping for a new camera lense (see below).
This afternoon was work, work, work for Emma & I, and play, play, play for James and Olivia.
Our main achievement was chopping down a 7 metre palm tree - and chopping it up into smaller pieces. Next time you are here the view from the lower deck should be a bit better as a result.
James made friends with a new South African family who have moved into the street beneath us and played soccer for hours with his friends. Olivia had Kayla over this afternoon and played with dolls and bounced on the trampoline for a long time.
I thought I should show-off the new camera lense (David - its a Tamron 18-270mm zoom). The shots below taken from the balcony this afternoon demonstrate the wide range it provides. We wanted this for the Vietnam trip (which will be the subject of the next blog).
